Welsh is the main language for internal communication in the
school. We communicate with parents and carers either in Welsh, in
English, or bilingually as needed. This is a school with a strong
Welsh ethos, supporting and enabling the learners to use the Welsh
language in all social contexts in and outside the school.
In an immersion setting all learners are taught fully in Welsh with
English being used at times to ensure understanding during the
early immersion period.
From the age of 7 onwards, at least 80% of the learner's school
activities (both curricular and extra-curricular) will be in Welsh.
